On September 25, 2024, a delegation of 26 drone companies from the United States visited the Chengzhi International Lecture Hall of National Taiwan University to participate in the "UAV/Counter-UAV Forum" hosted by the National Taiwan University Unmanned Vehicle R&D and Design Center and the National Taiwan University Ocean Center, and communicated with more than a hundred Taiwanese related manufacturers. During the forum, Robuff CEO Peng-Chih Chen introduced Robuff's development direction in the field of defense unmanned boats to Taiwan Vice President Hsiao Meiqin, demonstrating the company's latest achievements in autonomous unmanned boat technology.
This forum also showcased the achievements of R&D cooperation between Robuff and the National Taiwan University Unmanned Vehicle R&D and Design Center. Through technology and resource sharing, both parties have made significant progress in technologies such as autonomous control of unmanned boats and joint control systems. This cooperation not only strengthens Taiwan's strength in defense technology, but also sets a successful example for the industry-university cooperation model, further promoting Taiwan's innovation and application in unmanned vehicle technology.
